Design for Garden Irrigation
The ideal way to water our garden is the installation of an irrigation system. Factors that should do opt for this option are several. First is certainly more economical in water consumption that the manual irrigation, gardens a little larger than normal manual watering is simply impossible, would be a long time we should devote to this work, certain that at some point we can not or simply a vacation and absence from home can take to ruin the work of many months of work. Therefore we will focus on components that are going to be necessary for the development of an automatic watering our garden.
The design of this irrigation should logically do so considering how our garden. At least it is advisable to differentiate the irrigation lines in two areas a first zone of sprinklers that will be in charge of lawn watering and a second line to be the drip line to each plant to reach a micro tube. For handling this simple design we have raised we will need a programmer who will be responsible for control the days and minutes that we want to water, the electro valves that will let water pass through or not depending on the left order received from the developer, a chest of garden will be responsible for housing the solenoid valves buried in our garden, polyethylene, this is a flexible tube with which we can make the trip without any problems, elbows and the like to adjust the tube and sprinklers that have different options of 90 degrees, 180 degrees or 360 degrees, among others. In some points for the irrigation needs we will need to use pressure reducers. For the drip line we will need micro tubing and diffusers.
We must take into account the pressure available in the garden, if not much a good option is to divide the irrigation lines in several so that the flow in the pipe has been increased pressure. Another factor to consider is the nature of water, if we have a lot of water would be desirable amount of lime softeners use in the irrigation line to prevent obstruction to the passage of time of our items.
